Just got back frome Reptile Fest. It was cool. I met Ed, saw many snakes, realized that I'd have to buy a bigger house if I ever got a Burm. I had to put up with construction related traffic and "blankity-blank, I'm more important than anyone" Chicago drivers but it was worth it. I know there are other Chicago area people besides Ed and me on this board. If you aren't doing anything tomorrow, go to Reptile Fest. Even if you are doing something tomorrow, forget it. Go to Reptile Fest. Get your picture taken with Bubba.

Was great meeting Sqeezer, real good people. This year it has been a huge hit, Lots of wonderful animals there.

hehe Bubba is an 8'+ American Alligator that is 110% tame as a puppy. I'm pretty sure Bubba was the gator Steve Irwin had on the Oprah show when he visited Chicago. He is a very impressive animal.
Unfortunately Samson is in a full shed, and gets a little skittish after a bit of handling. Tonight he has a booty call date with my buddy Rich's girl Carla. She is 9' and wieghs around 50 pounds. I put him in her cage and within 15 minutes he was starting to whisper sweet nothings in the ear(if she had ears) Since my digi cam suck I'll take regular pics and scan them in of some of the incredible animals there. I urge anyone that can make it to attend.
