New show in southern MN?
Well I have been thinking about putting a reptile expo together, and I am wondering if there is anybody in the upper midwest that would be interested in this forum. I have a few vendors that are interested in Fauna, but I am wondering if anybody in here would be interested. I am going to do alot of advertiseing in the region but nothing is set in stone yet. I have been thinking of a late Aug early sept show.. please let me know!

Re: New show in southern MN?
I live in Minnesota and am very interested in buying a crested geckos and Red- Eyed Tree Frogs. Do it very early because I am starting preparations for my new pets. I would rather get them at a reptile expo than at a local pet store because they cost less at an expo (I hope).

Re: New show in southern MN?
Our local herp society started an annual show that has turned into quite a hit. It's surprising how many people attend. With a decent line up of vendors and a little advertising, it could really take off.
Of course the risk is not covering the rental for the space, insurance, etc., but if promoted well, with a fair but reasonable entrance fee, you should do fine.
I can put you in touch with the organizer of our annual show if you'd like.
