Sorry if this is in the wrong forum,
I did'nt realy know where to put it.

Anyway
I'm going to daytona
I am just wanting some tips on buying herps.
If i see something I like and a price thats good and I can afford it should I buy it there or should i right down the table, and browse for a better price...?
What should i avoid?
This is only my second reptile show and the one I went to befor, did'nt have to many booths .

Anyother tips would help .

I would ask the breeder to hold it for a half hour while you go look around. If he/she says no then make a choice of how nice the animal is for the price. I looked for 2 hours and went back to the first one I had seen, you know what you like and the prices, so good luck and have fun.

I'm soooo jealous I can't go.

well....unfortunately most of those tables will not hold an animal for you while you look around. From experience the best deals can be made on Sunday. Most of the breeders/dealers will cut prices just so they have less to pack up. If money matters to ya ....wait till Sunday. A lot is picked over by then but thats the chance you take. Oh....and take cash because a lot of tables dont accept cards and checks. Oh and dont buy the first one you see because you will regret it before you leave. BG...I got ya covered...I moved it to the reptile shows section.
I think Karen said it all when she said to take cash and don't buy the first thing you see.
Sound advice from my experience.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Ted
