Ohhhhhh I love the lil rosie, awwww its so sweet. I'm so happy you got one for her, now go out and get her The Tarantula Keeper's Guide, and other tarantula books so she could be the best lil T owner in all the land. Well either that or set up an account at arachnoboards, its the next best thing.
Awwww what a cutie pie, so fuzzy and sweet, oh and the kids look just perfect too lol

Arachnoboards...Ok, I will do that..I printed out some stuff off the internet about them, but Im gonna let Mary do some looking herself and let her find the info..
Question, they did say it would eat mealworms..Im going today to get crickets..should I vary the diet or supplement with any vitamins?

Kim, I was THANKFUL for the sav..Really worried about what all Ryan was looking at..There were a hundred things I wanted, but I wasnt really set up or ready for them...Chameleons, arboreals..plus I was broke. The water dragon was cheap, so was the T and the savannah. I know a bit about Water dragons and the savannahs Ive read a lot about as well, so I was glad we got the little chunk!

My husband hates when I go to a reptile show. He's always afraid to see what I'll bring home. I'll have to check out when the next one is around here, maybe I can bring home a cute, fat, little sav too!!!!!! I know last year there was one in the area in June.

The only problem I ever had with the monitors was the space requirements, and temperments. But savannahs are the best for beginners.
I talked to different people at the show and on the boards and Niles can just be too aggressive for the beginning keeper. I love their colors and physical profile. But after getting to see the healthy adult sav wandering around the show, and seeing what it would look like in a couple of years, I really was glad this was his choice..

Amercn...you said that Tegu came from Vet Pets? Dr. Hannon is my vet! That Tegu is awesome...I want to play with it every time I go into his office. My little guy, maynard came from him. What else did he have down there? Did he bring any of the albino burms that he adopted? I wanted to come to the show, but I was about 2 hours away in Columbus,MS visiting my parents.
