So, who's going to the Sacramento show on the 27th, 28th of July? Has it been cool in years past? The website on kingsnake.com made it sound like it would be really cool, especially since EBV and LLL are supposed to be there.

I just moved back to northern California last fall and heard about the Sac show recently, so haven't been to any of the past ones. Heck, if EBV was the only vendor there it'd be a cool show. Anyway, I'll be attending on Sunday, July 28th only because I work on Saturdays (unless I swap that Saturday for Sunday! hmmmm). I'm in the market for another neonate Suriname boa (female) and was hopeful of finding one there.

I can't thank you enough for this posting the show was bumped up to July, instead of Oct/Sept (I might have missed it.) I called them they told me that I was more then welcome to bring my pics of my babies and hook up with the vendors to try and sell my striped babies he told me if I sell any and need to come back Sunday to deliver let him know and they'd give me a pass for Sunday free. I'm only about 10 minutes away.

Does anybody have directions they can post? We're on sort of a no-new-pets moratorium, but it sure would be fun to go look at what's there.

I should be on a "no new pets" moratorium, but don't have that much control! The show is at the Sacramento Convention Center which is right downtown. I believe you can exit off Interstate 5 at "J" Street, and the Convention Center is at 1400 J Street...so it isn't hard to get to. MapQuest would be another way to look it up on-line. Does anyone know what vendor's will be there???
We are in the NO NEW PETS thing as well, considering we had to sale our RTB's recently.
I'm just curious if its going to be any better than the last one I went to. I went to the one in San Mateo, and it was so poor and vacant that it was not worth my time to go.
Have any of you ever gone to the one in San Diego they have every year?? That ones amazing!!

The only two vendors I've heard about so far is East Bay Vivarium and LLL Reptiles. There is a contact phone number for the show: (916) 691-7387, ask for Jeremy or Angel, and perhaps they may have additional vendor info. Since it's the "5th annual" I'm hoping it'll be a good one!

I went to the San Mateo one this year, my first reptile show...I got my first ball python there. I can't wait until the Sac show. I need to get a larger tank for him now. And I might be looking at getting possibly a corn snake...dunno yet...

I went to the San Mateo one as well and was disappointed like Rainbowlishiss. Then I went to the San Diego show on the 14th and was astounded. That show was AWESOME! I could not believe how many tables there were and how many people showed up....amazing. I hope the Sacramento show is good...

A last minute FYI for anyone going to the Sac. show: LLL Reptiles has a printable $1.00 off admission coupon as well as a 10% discount coupon for the show on their website. Also Reptile Depot has a discount coupon as well on their website too!

Uh, wished I'd a seen this message before going to the show. I did pick up a very sweet female Columbian from the Reptile Ranch...first one they sold in the morning. I was there from 10 to 12 Saturday but couldn't hang arond much longer cause I had to get to work! Let me know if any babies are left.
