Jan. cold takes heavy toll (Florida)

There is no point, morti, except that I feel bad for the animals freezing to death. I find it sad. I apologize if that has offended anyone, though I'm not sure why it would. I certainly hope their death wasn't for nothing.

I hope their death was not for nothing too, Sherri. You know that old saying

"It's an ill wind that blows no good."

If I might just make a comment here that may be unpopular - I think we all need to realize that as human beings, we are different from each other in how we got to who we are today. Let's try to get along seeing as how we are supposed to be reptile/animal loving people on this site.

I notice there was another thread started about the same thing. And most of the people there are expressing compassion for the deaths of the animals. I don't know what happened with this thread, but I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the responses on the other one.
