i have a manager at work who is a huge reptile lover (and a responsible herp owner too), he has a few colubrids and various lizards, even he was a bit nervous when i told him we had retics, i told him im gonna wait til im off one day and hes working so he can meet Maya

he wants to meet her after i told him now nice she was, and how she was great with even the children that have held her

In the video and pics of the python, it looks to be extremely small in diameter...I would consider that underfed, even for a male...

If it's true it is a female, then he had been underfeeding or starving that snake for a very long time...I don't think a female with good weight would lose that much body size, even after a year or longer of not eating...

Obviously the loss of the girl is the most tragic part of all of this....but IMO, I think some very serious animal cruelty/neglect charges need to be added on to whatever they hit the dad with for the death of his daughter.

i just cant help but wonder why if the snake got out a few days prior, why didn't he close the door to the room the snake was in or at least close the door to the childs room? things that make you go hmmm.

These are the same types of people who leave loaded guns lying around the house where kids can find them and play with them. Some people just should not rear any living things.

I didn't realize it was that low, when you can hear yourself talk in the speakers it seemed just fine. Sorry Guess you will have to turn your speakers up a little.
