Stories like that always make me sad...because they're always "forced to kill" the animal. And it's also sad for every other snake/snake owner that will be negatively affected by bad choices of others...

If you look at the pic of the tail you can tell the snake is malnourished and was probably starving, and keeping it in a 55 or 75 gallon fish tank? Honestly those people are idiots and i pitty that snake for having to live in those conditions. You know what they say about texas.......lol just kidding Texans...

I always love these stories, it's always the snake's fault for being large, rather than the keeper's fault for, in this case, a) leaving it with a 13 year old girl, and b) not knowing about alcohol.

also for people losing respect. they start thinking 'this is my pet and it wont ever hurt me' they are wild animals forever and no matter what people think they can be unpredictable. (as much as i hate to admit that)
