National Reptile Breeders' expo

Here's a pic of the 2008 National Reptile Breeders' Expo. I went sat. and sun. and it was great! Over 600 venders. I plan on going every year. Main problem is you spend too much I bought 2 new snakes one a female suriname and a Hypo Colombia Boa double Het for Sunglow. The Turtle island was hudge and had an uncountable amount of turtles even some two headed ones for sale. Mostly there was ball pythons of every morph you could think of I saw more pies then I thought was possible. I'm sure more people will comment on thier experiences.

Re: National Reptile Breeders' expo

mostly ball python morphs?

kinda sad, I miss the days of reptile shows being a diverse array of reptiles of all types.

Im guessing there were plenty of leopard geckos, bearded dragons, Boas, Retics, and ball pythons, but what other kinds of stuff were there?
lots of frogs, other lizards, colubrids?

just curious

Re: National Reptile Breeders' expo

What day was that taken? I think I see me.

Tele, Most were ball python and boas hets and morphs. Didn't see a single "regular" hog island or argentine.

There were a good amount of Chelons, you name it, it was probably there. A vendor had some sweet Leos. Not many retics but enough colubrids to fill your bowl. Sweet array of Garters. Stood there for a bit. A good variety of everything, just not as much as the boa/ball morphs.

Didn't see any normal retics.

Re: National Reptile Breeders' expo

The leopard geckos were pretty impressive this year, and trust me I'm the type to walk by all the leopards, beardies, balls, etc. But, yes just like every show it was chock full of balls, boas, bloods (they are the new ball python), but there's always a few neat things like giant sulcatas and rhino iguanas. There were some really cool turtles, some weird snakenecks with spines all over their necks were my favorite. Unfortunately I only got to spend about an hour and 45 mins (not nearly enough time for a Daytona show) so I'm pretty sure I missed at least half the venders I was #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& about that.
