It's comments like these that make it hard for me being a snake owner. Snake owners don't just get a bad rep from irrisposible(irresponsible)people, it's also from the people that make comments like you did above.

It's a shame for both the cat and the snake. The snake gets the bad rap for doing what comes natural and the cat loses it's life because of peoples stupidity. Keep your cats indoors if you want them to be safe and do your homework before buying a snake.

You can take out the snake add a dog and this type of thing happens every day.

Agreed

If it was a any other animal besides a snake it would not even made the news.
if you lived in the country and a hawk or owl swoop down and got the cat would that make them bad.
It just part of life.
