crap. I think I'm going to be sick. I can't believe that someone would do such a thing. where the heck is the pleasure in such an act? It's just disturbing. Take the time you need to grieve, man... I cant even think straight, so I know you must be torn apart. My condolances.

wow that was just wrong. dunno how anyone could ever say something like that^^^^^ after seeing/hearing what had happened to the snake. i think i 2nd, 3rd and 4th what CowboyBarry said about you.
as far as the people that did this to ur baby girl c., well i cant really say to much on this forum, but im sure natural selection will take care of them for sure! i just wish you the best, you're right no one and nothing will EVER be able to mount up to her, but you have the right head on ur shoulder, u'll learn from this, and not let this (as hard as it will be) get in the way of caring for your other species...good luck with everything, and my condolences are with you..

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Rick, I posted a link to this on another forum asking if anyone there might be able to help find out who did this.
There is no reason for this senseless killing.
I really hope they get caught and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

One post on RTB and this is what you come up with!!!!!!!
What is wrong with you? This situation wouldn't exist if it wasn't for theives that placed no value on this snakes life. NOT because Rick got coffee.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
You know, the person seems to have really wanted that bag. If the window had been up all the way, what's to say the person wouldn't have just broken out the window?
It's hardly Rick's fault.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
There was no way for Rick to know that something like this was going to happen, and he was only trying to keep it a little cooler in his car for her, even if he was only gone for 2 minutes. We can all say, "if he had done this" or "if he had done that" instead then this may have not happened, but it's human nature. What's done and what has happened has happened, and nothing can be done about it now, the past cannot be changed. I'm sure Rick has already gone through those thoughts of, "if I had done this" and "I wish I had..." but again, there was NO way for him to know. All he and the rest of us can do now is look to the future and hope those who committed the crime are put to justice.
Now if I was in his situation when I stopped at that place, the bag would of been on the floor with something like newspaper overtop of it to kind of hide it, and the window would of been rolled up but cracked open, and the doors locked, because I'm naturally paranoid... But that's me, though. Now I'm not saying Rick was wrong with what he did, not at all. The rolled down window was just an easy opportunity for anyone to just walk by and swipe the bag... now I don't know about actually breaking in the window if it was rolled up, but still.
But what you said was wrong and completely uncalled for. If you didn't have anything nice to say, then why say it? You shouldn't have. This is not the time or the place for that.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Please do not pay attention to Lemons' comment. He only did it for the reaction.
I logged on to see the "she's been found comment". I went back and found the post. I'm a grown man and almost broke into tears. I'm not going to say "How could someone do that?" because man is natuarally this brutal, but it still breaks my heart.
I have had my snakes in the car while I've run into a store...many times. This could just as easily happened to me and I cannot imagine having to go through this. I might have been better off believing that she was still alive. I am completely devastated for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss bud.
Just a friendly reminder, keep it civil, if this thread turns into a flame fest, I will shut it down. Lets not add insult to injury, ok folks?
