Rick there is nothing I can say to make you feel better about this sick thing this person or people did.
I have posted about this on my site. If I get any info at all I will be sure you get it first thing. Anything I can do let me know. I am lost for words.

I signed up on this forum just to give you my condolences and show my discust for the people that did this to your beloved girl. She was BEAUTIFUL and I can't imagine the anger and loss you are feeling at this time.
No punishment will ever be good enough for the animals that did this sad and sorry action.

Trust me, they'd be much better off dealing with the law or Karma then dealing with me at the moment. In my current frame of mind.......I better just leave it at that.
I want to apologize for not responding sooner. I jumped on the bus for about 4 hours to just go and think. $5 in bus fair sure is better then $60 for a tank of gas these days. I'm "sorta" back in control. I think. For now anyway.
The reward posters have been taped up all over the neighborhood. It's a poor neighborhood, so $500 should be enough to have someone turn in their own brother. But just in case it ain't, several other friends have pitched in a hundred each, so we are now at $900 if it becomes necessary.
Police put the value of the crime at 7K to bring it to felony, and therefor keeping the case open longer. They say my reward posters will probably be the best help they can get.
I hope the cops catch them. I'm likely to show them just what those stones felt like to my girl if I get them first.
Anyway, I'm out. Hope you understand. I just keep getting worked up talking about it.
Rick

The sad truth maybe that even someone that had something to do with this maybe one that turns in the others. Hopefully the one(s) that come forward are the good guys and have no blood on their hands.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
My first clutch of ball pythons should be hatching in a little over a week. If you don't have any news on the so-and-so's that did this to your snake, I'd like to put any deposits I get on the babies towards the "reward for information" thing you have going.
I just... Ugh. I can't believe something like this would happen. There just aren't words that can describe how deeply upset and moved I am by this. It would be a violation of TOS to describe in which direction I am moved to by this, but I'm fairly certain everyone here feels much the same. I forwarded this information to my mom and my uncles, and while they can't help towards the reward, they wanted me to tell you that you have their deepest condolences.
Please - if we can help in any way, big or small - PLEASE let us know.

Whew.......For a minute there, I thought you were gonna offer me one of those girly type snakes.
Seriously though, keep your money for now. We'll see what the first offer brings to the plate before upping the ante.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Means a lot to me. I'll survive like always though. I've been thru worse things and turned out OK. I just can't afford to let myself dwell on this for long. We'll see what the posters bring.
Thanks again.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Girly type snakes... Pffft. There is nothing girly about the axanthic clown, the lavender albino pied, or the blue-eyed leucistic. :P
But no, just pastels this year for me, but if I do hatch out a couple, I will be taking deposits on them. And as I said - IF you don't get any bites by the time I have deposits, I'd like to help you up the ante, as it were.

oh hunny. I think my heart stopped. I certainly hope those dastardly miscreants are found. (I have a several other choice words, but, you know...) What a horrible thing to do! omg... words are not enough. I wish I could give you a huge hug right now.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
I am so, so, so sorry that this happened. =/ There are evil people in this world, and they tend to show up more to those of us that work with animals..
I know that there isn't much that we could say that can make you feel better, this pain is gonna take a while to heal and you'll always miss her.. but if there is ANYTHING that any of us could possibly do, please let us know! I'm sure that everyone here is willing to help you in any way possible.
She was a truly beautiful creature. Not many people really understand how attached we become to our snakes, because they're not furry or 'cute'.. But I love my snakes just as much as I love my dogs and my horses, and I'm sure that you loved her a lot.
Take care. I hope you find who did this.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Hi Rick,
This really suck and I know what I would want to do if I found the person who did this. But I hope you just let the police deal with them because if you hurt them they will more than likely sue you and then you are out more money and maybe in jail yourself.
Take care
Tom

I'm not normally one to condone violence.. but when it comes to situations like this, I end up spilling forth quite a bit of it.. I swear, if I got my hands on them, they wouldn't remember what 'sueing' is, let alone be lucky if they remembered their own bloody name.
As Rick said, they would feel every ounce of pain Aurora did, and find out what it feels like to be pummelled by stones..
It's times like this, that you realize that humans are the only real 'dirty animal' on this planet. So many of our own species are sick, heartless beasts that lash out at other animals for no reason at all, and in this case... you can bet it was out of greed. They didn't get the big bag of money they expected, so they took it out on that poor girl...
Fear may've had something to do with it, but I doubt that was the full motive behind it.
