Omg, I don't even know how to put words to this, Not even going to try.
I Just hope the catch the person resonable for this great tragedy.
I'm so shock I am having a hard time writing this.
.
By the looks of the photo it looks like a couple of kids did this, they probably dump your bag hoping to find a gun and got frighten and did this.
It is a shame and a very big tragedy for you to go though.
I'm deeply Sorry for your loss.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
I haven't cried so hard in.... I am so sorry... If you need anything, or even just need to call someone and yell for awhile, PM me and I'll shoot you my phone number.
I am so sorry... I can't even think. Oh honey. *huge hugs* Even my bf is crying, now. You have hugs and love from us through this... That is so terrible.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
I just... I just don't understand what they were thinking when they stole the bag out of your car!
They stole it and found it was a big snake, but NNNNOOOOOOOooo instead of taking it back to you, they had to do this to her instead. I can't imagine what she went through. It was probably those sorry Scum that called you, too.
I HATE people.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Hey Rick, this is Aaron from iherp. Someone posted a blog about this, and I'm going to post the link back here.
I am so sorry about Aurora -- she was a beautiful animal.
This was a senseless fluke (I'm sure you could have done the same thing 999 times, and nothing would have come of it), so try not to beat yourself up over it. And if you must, beat yourself up once, and then stop. The way she died was senseless, and you can hardly be blamed for it (although it is our human nature to do so). We don't expect that people are going to be evil in our everyday lives, and it's a sad testament when you find that to be the case.
I'm very very sorry for your loss, especially under such circumstances.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
How could someone do a thing like that!? This has angered and upset me so badly I don't.. I can't even imagine what you're going through, Rick.. if I could ever get my hands on those sorry slimebags that did that, there's no telling what I'd do to them...

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
I am so sorry,
First of all, anyone who would steal a bag out of someones open window is a you know what, and I cannot in my wildest imagination, imagine finding an 8 foot snake and then just dumping it, knowing the person I stole it from, probably loved it to death. Have you tried a rescue site? I'm sure there are a ton of rescues in the area, they might have wanted to give it back, but figured they would get arrested, so they called the humane society, and dropped it there, or were referred to a rep rescue in the area. It might be on petfinder.com already. I would check a local rep rescue or the humane society. Just an idea, and again, I am so very very sorry. I would be going insane if I were you.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Oh my god. I'm so very sorry. I have no words for this. I cannot fathom how anyone could be so malicious and cruel. I know they say profanity is the crutch of the weak minded but I really can't think of much to say that isn't in violation of the TOS.
I know you don't feel up to it right now, and I don't blame you a bit. When you do though, I would call some news agencies. Get this out into the media. Someone somewhere knows who did this. I'm betting they wouldn't balk at turning them in if the price was right.
How I would love to get my hands on whoever did this. Karma will get them eventually, but I sure would like to give them something to think about while they're waiting.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
I read this at the beginning and was fearful it would end up this way....
I hope it was kids that did it, that way they are sure to brag and hopefully that will get back to someone and passed on to you....
So sorry for your loss...

I would post reward for information posters near that building. Chances are that they frequent it and anyone who would do such a thing would likely rat on their buddies for cash.

Re: Stolen Boa, need help.
Hi Rick
I just read about this in a blog on Iherp and had to register here just to express how sorry I am to hear about your loss. I can't believe how cruel some people can be and you begin to wonder who is the animal. I have two boas myself and I hope you find the people responsible for doing this to her and causing you so much pain. The Herp community is feeling for you right now...
