Sad reptile story

Interesting, but not good news. I think it would help if everyone rode motorcycles; only half as many tires.

Have to believe it with how many cars are out there nowa days and how much everyone is in a hurry! I know I have got me a few frogs in my time!

Re: Sad reptile story

I've hit a few too. If we're to believe this story's findings though, it could be making a real impact on species decline. Where I live, people are always running over turtles. They're big enough and slow enough, they're easy to avoid. People just don't care.

Re: Sad reptile story

Then again, I saw a lady driving a big SUV in the wrong lane, following a big turtle to protect it as it meandered across the road. I don't think people should risk their lives or someone else's in a case like that.

10-4 on that. If its unavoidable the animal will always get it before I put anybodys life at stake.

I hate it when people hit them intentionally, my mom tried to save one in the road once but a guy in a big white pickup lined up his wheels to hit it and then turned around and waved at my mom with a big smirk.
