Stupid Kid!!!

I'll admit I killed a few toads and a chipmunk ( It was actually an accident ) when I was very young... I feel terrible about it. That poor snake though... It's kinda hard to believe that the kid may never feel remorse cause it was "Just a snake"

poor snake and poor kid. i love how people are up in arms about dogfighting, but still treat most other animals like crap (and their dogs). that's the american way. say you care about something, but act like you care only about yourself.

even my 2 year old respects animals. kids are naturally inquisitive and rarely scared of that first encounter. from there, it's all what the parents do.

i have a horrible temper i would of pulled my zip tie out of my pocket and pulled a citizens arrest (after doing all of the above)

there was a local/semi-local guy who literally tried that at a convenience store with some thugs. technically, they were loitering and this guy didn't work there or anything, just flipped i guess. he not only got the crap beat out of him but also got charged with assault for trying to "citizens arrest" the "loiterers" and it was all on tape. it was a big ordeal and they made sure people understood that a citizens arrest wasn't really an arrest at all, more or less just telling on someone because if you force someone to do anything, you can be held liable for it EVEN if a cop asks for your help.

Yep, I would have gone competely berserk. And then I would pull the "young female cryng" and hopefully got out of trouble. But I dunno. I hope this kid cries every night, I hate him. I don't even know him and I hate him...

c'mon, the kid did a terrible thing but to wish death on a kid is just stupid. sounds like a young kid from the story and everything he knows has been taught to him by someone older. a snake's life isn't worth a kid's life anyway, i love snakes but i saw someone beating up on a 5 year old because he killed a snake, i'd throw an elbow to their mouth and try to help the kid. sure, the parents or people in charge should reprimand the kid but not to "get even", to teach. if you spend any time punishing a kid to feel better, you're a crappy human being. we spank/ground/whatever to them so that they LEARN and you have to TEACH while reprimanding them or it does no good and is probably across that line of abuse. i hate spanking my kids but sometimes, you gotta get their attention. mine would walk all over me and everyone else otherwise.

the way the parent disappeared, it sounds like he's probably some idiot who shouldn't be a dad, shouldn't take the kid anywhere since he lacks control over him and that endangers the kid and obviously snakes, and HE should suffer some retribution.

The lack of parenting is just amazing to me these days. It is almost like it was inconveniencing the parent that the kid just killed something. What in the heck is wrong with people? If I had done something like that you'd better believe that my parents would have made me seriously sorry for what I had done. And when I was growing up if I did something wrong other parents who didn't know my parents would have grabbed me by the arm and said, "Take me to your parents".... and I would have done it because they taught me respect for my elders. Nowadays that's assaulting a minor, and the kids know it and take advantage of it.
