I hate the way the guy treated the snake,,,,obviously it was just a prop. Like many I was thrilled by him when I was little and horrified when I got older and got into raising healthy snakes. It's sad,,but the thing I think alot of folks miss is that he didn't just mistreat this snake as a healthy individual. This is a messed up man who left his family and friends behind for drugs. It's as obvious as a sign one can get that hard drugs just don't destroy the person but the people, and pets, around that person. He's been killing himself for years so it's not a surprise that he neglected and abused his animal. It's sad that he couldn't manage to get the help for himself and even sader that this poor animal in his care had to suffer because of it.

That's sad. I heard about him and his snake. I didn't think the snake died though. The newspaper (fauna classifieds) was probably just a mistake being shipped with my reptile anyways. It only had 2 pages out of 18 but I really wish it had the other page showing the other info on his court case.
Thanks again for telling me a mystery I was trying to find out.

Man! I can really relate to this statement. It's just mind-boggling how anyone can treat such a beautiful snake like that! I'm happy that he's getting what's coming to him in regards to such mal-treatment of his "lively-hood".

I just joined this site, and omg this is the first forum I read. I've never even herd of a snake starving to death, That really bothers me, he should'nt even be allowed to touch that snake. It sounds like he hated it, And if he did'nt take care of it or say it was considered a "stage prop" why was'nt there someone appointed to caring for the animal.

I used to watch him when i was about 7 and he's the reason i got into snakes, He dissapointed me hugely. He needs a huge slap!

grrr!!! he wass just on WWE Raw and brought out a Burm. at least it thought it was a snake, he never actually took the snake out of the bag...GRR!!

saw this last night myself. I just sent off a message to WWE in regards to the audacity of it all. I don't think he had an actual snake in the bag. I don't think any reputable snake dealer would even let him near one with the charges he's facing.
