RTB.net's SOM/LOM contest is getting a face lift.
It will now me called RTB.net's "Mascot of the Month". Anything herp related goes. That means snakes, chelonians, lizards, and amphibians are all included.

New Rules:
The following rules are a general guideline for the this casual contest. These rules are subject to change without notice. Any and all images submitted to Redtailboa.net will become property of Redtailboa.net. By sending your image you agree that Redtailboa.net may use your image for the purpose of this contest. You also agree to the following terms and conditions as stated below.
1) Only current members of Redtailboa.net may enter or vote in the contests
2) You may submit one photo of you choice of herp related species. New Submissions for the next month can be submitted any time during judging.
3) Submissions for the current month will be taken at the close of the prior month's voting. Voting for the prior month's submissions will close on the Monday of the last full week of the next month, or as close to that day as possible. ***I will do my best to keep on top of this, but feel free to give me a PM "kick in the rear" if you see that we are a couple of days past.
*Just to clear up some confusion here is an example of how this all works: July submissions will start being taken on the Monday of the last full week of June. Voting for June Mascot of the Month will open and May's winners will be declared at this time as well. On the Monday of the last full week in July: August submissions will open, voting for July Mascot of the Month will open and June's winners will be declared.
The Admin or Moderator at the time will end the contest. During that time you may vote on/for any animal. You may only vote once per month.
4) The image must be YOUR image, taken of YOUR animal. Absolutely NO images of animals currently not in your collection will be allowed entry.
5) Please make sure that images are no bigger than
400 pixels in length or width. If not, they will be resized.
6) A maximum of 20 entries per contest, any submissions past 20 must be re-submitted into the next month's contest.
7) The image with the most votes upon closing of the contest will be the winner.

Images may be resubmitted in another contest once the existing contest is closed. However, winning images may not be submitted again.
