Some of you may remember when I suspected my BCI of having IBD. At the time it seemed rather unlikely. It turns out that he did. I came home the other day to an infection ridden boa, and had to put him down. This was the first snake that I actually cried over. Lukily though, I had isolated him from my pythons and the all seem to be doing alright still.

Sorry to hear about your Boa. Did you have a necropsy done? Only way to tell for sure if it was IBD. At least he wasnt around the rest of your collection.

That is highly sad. I'm sorry to hear that. Where did you get this animal?

Sorry to hear that. It's a hard thing to have to make a decision to do such...sorry you had to.

I have a question though...

How was the determination of IBD made and by whom ? I'd assume to venture that you had a necropsy done on the snake then ? Exactly where in the body was the IBD found and what was the % extent in which it was inclusive ?
