RIP Solomon

where i work at an exotic rep rescue centre we got a solomon island ground boa few years ago. he was very emaciated and near death. we learned about them and found out that "Solomon" liked tree frogs and anoles. we fed him a few every month for 2 years and he gained enough weight and was doing fine. one day. i went into his cage to clean his water and he was dead. i was too heartbroken to take him to the vet but i think it was parasites b/c he was wild caught. is there anyway i can tell now?

aww im sooo sorry to hear about that. yes, the only way to be able to tell what he died from is by taking him to the vet. good luck with him though, in what ever your choice may be, and good luck in the future. i recommend taking a new herp to the vet for a check up when you get one, just to be on the safe side.
