rest in peace little one rest in peace
i know alot of you arnt cat fansbut about 2 weeks ago my nephew was at his dads house and found a kitten and his dad thought it would be fun to feed the cat to his pit bull and my nephew saved him thank God kinda. he was aout 2 to 3 weeks old i think 3 but the vet said he was just 3 to 4 weeks yester day. he was healthy but really dirty and we cleaned him up so for the past few weeks i was with him 24 7 and i would stay up all night with it rubbing it he had the cutest personallity and was so pretty but on sat he got sick i found him laying on the floor almost dead so we took him to the vet and they gave him fluids then we took him back for more like they said to . he seemed to be geting better but then yesterday we took him in for another cheak up and they did sugery they said there was a good chance and he would be fine and when we got him they said to just let him sleep the rest of the day . well i was in my room watching tv and snuggling with him and he woke up . i could tell he was in so much pain he wouldnt stop meowing . later last night he died . the thing about this cat is it didnt want to give up . for the short time i had with him was great and i cant belive how attatched i am to him I look at him now as im about to bury him he looks like hes now out of pain i just wish i didnt have to make him suffer but there was noone open around here at that time sorry i keep going on

Ugh that sucks...You have my deepest sympathy...we just lost our cat to lung cancer the other day and we are still in a bit of shock and pain around here from all that so I can feel for ya...What was wrong with him? Did the Pitbull actually get ahold of him?

I have a cat here who is my buddy. I couldn't imagine something happening to him. My sympathies.
Brett, is this the adult cat kind of yellowish that I saw when I was there? My sympathies to you and Megan.

sorry to hear about that julius squeezer but at least he or she is not suffering anymore .
no the pit didnt get it from what we could see we got it cheacked out and nothing was wrong with that. it got a peice of poop that was to big for it to poop out and it got dehydrated . im sure it was from not getting rubbed enough like the mother dose to it . but its hard to say that cause i was with it all the time except to run out real fast. we couldnt get hydrated the vet tryed but it was just to much for somthin that little to haddle

It sounds like you tried everything possible to make that little kitty more comfortable while he was with you. You took a lot of chances when others would have just given up and had the animal put down - more power to you.
