We will miss her terribly... :(
well, R.I.P. Elisia. It was strange. For those of
f you who dont know, we recieved her as a gift about 8-9 months ago. She did not eat her first meal until 3 weeks after we had her all set up at home. We figured, well its been 3 weeks, mayby she is still stressed, you know..well her second she ate, third she ate, and so on. She was doing great. Both Joe and I were so happy. We had the perfect emerald. It ate, and was rarely nippy. As you can see in the pic, i was holding her no problem. Well friday night I picked up rats for all of our snakes, everyone ate, including her. she took it down like it was nothing, then back to her usual perching. again, we thought, "YES" she ate!..well, this morning i didnt get to see joe before he left for work. I noticed her hanging out at the bottom, which was very un usual,considering she has never done that before. After work i had to go to walmart, so i did some shopping and came home. mentioned somthing to joe about it, he said yeah im watching her, somethings wrong. well, R.I.P. Elisia. We lost her at 9:49 p.m. on September 16, 2003. Im not sure why, due to the fact that she had no signs of ever being sick. From what joe told me at work was when he got home she regurged, so i thought thats why she was at the bottom, figured once we double checked everything and everything she would be fine, just like the first time. I guess we were wrong. We both cried. This has hit us so hard its unbelievable. I cant believe it.

she was wild caught.. she was a good girl.
no, it wont turn us off of the emerlads. we cant replace her though. joe wouldnt even talk lastnight he was so upset.. thanks for the thoughts guys, we appreciate it
