El Diablo
Well, for those that don't know, I picked up a couple of ammies from a pet store a couple of weeks ago. Well, it turns out they are yearlings, wild caught and have parasites. So needless to say the first one has passed on. The 2nd one is still alive and is being treated for roundworms. So far he's pulling through, just as evil as ever.

Josh, Change your profile! You don't live in IN anymore
Did Morti tell you to treat him tonight or wait until tomorrow?

I'm actually changing it now...my lazy self
He said for me to just wait until tomorrow and that should be fine. He's running around active and still biting at everything so i think he'll pull through.

Make sure he is well hydrated before treating for worms. Panacure and other wormers tend to dehydrate a little and dehydrating a not well hydrated snake is worse than the worms. Amazons don't show dehydration like most snakes do with the skin flaps on the sides...look for pulled back lower jaw. Sorry about your loss of the other one. W/C amazons are a tough venture.

He was actually dehydrated when I got him as they kept them around 60% humidity, So i've been keeping them from 90-95% since I've received them. I hold this guy and have to use gloves and dodge quite often. You never realize how sweet ammies like Beech and Hades (ldydrgn's ammies) are until you handle a wild caught yearling.

Donnie says to dilute the Panacur a lil bit more..... this will get a bit more water into the system.
