I had so much hope for this little girl. When I got her in rescue she had so little energy left I thought she was already dead. After only a week things started looking pretty good. She seemed to be getting stronger. Unfortunately, once things started looking good other things started showing up. I had to have her put down this morning. Maybe now she can rest in peace without any more suffering.
Here is the link to the problems this cham faced and the final diagnosis that made me decide to put her down. symptoms and diagnosis
I wish I got a pic of her before I took her to the vet to put her down. She looked so good compared to what she did in this pic.

At least she had someone who cared enough to try to help her, even if it was too late. Chams are so delicate, it's amazing she made it as long as she did. I'm sorry to hear she didn't make it, but it's good she didn't have to suffer any more.

Thats what my vet said also. He couldnt believe she was still alive.
Actually, the chameleon was getting stronger. Thats what made it so hard putting her down. There was just no way I could keep her going with both hind legs fractured that bad.
