R.I.P. to all that where lost to us on september 11 2001

Well everyone its the one year memorial of 911, and i figured THIS is one r.i.p that absolutely needs to make it on to this forum for the one year memorial.... i dont know bout everyone else here but this trajedy hit me really hard not only did we lose fellow american's and family but we also lost two of the most monumental buildings in the u.s.a the twin towers and the pentagon being damaged... may all those lost R.I.P eternal peace and be known that you will never be forgotten...... and thank you again to all those that helped in the rescue/cleanup that came afterwards..............

As sad as it was for the thousands of truely innocent people that lost their lives, and the 10's of thousands that will have nightmares of that day for the rest of their lives. I feel it is almost as sad that it took such an outrageous act to open our eyes to the real world and to bring us all closer together. What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Well we all didn't die, but we sure as #$%^&#$%^&#$%^&#$%^& are allot stronger!!! God Bless America !!!

My feeling is my brain is saturated with 9/11 as every media source available had something going on yesterday, all day...I know it was historical travesty, but I don't need it pounded into my head over and over and over...seeing the same footage, the same shows (9/11) that I've already seen. I get it. I remember, I feel sorrow.

Get busy living, or get busy dying (Shawshank). Use it to make you stronger, and be closer to your loved ones. If you need the media or a messageboard to tell you that, something's wrong.

I never watched the news as much as I did last September. I remember turning the tv on and the news flash came on when the first tower had been hit.....what I saw live on tv after that was the most incredible and horrible thing ever. I couldn't get it out of my head for ages and felt like I had to watch the news constantly after that. I was very worried that there was going to be the next world war.

Like J Riley has said though, it gets to a point of saturation, and I didn't really want to hear about it any more. Even yesterday I couldn't sit and watch the 9-11 tv programmes or read the stories in the papers even, but it has been on my mind since the beginning of the month, how could it not be, nobody forgets things like that
