Sorry about the untimely death. Do you have any idea what the culprit was? With as many rhacs as you have, a necropsy would probably be a good idea, and maybe helpful to the rest of us out there as well.

It wasnt from illness. someone had gotten into the adult crested cage and carelessly closed the glass sliding front door on her. I found her on the floor later that night, her back quarter like jello. She could still climb with her front legs but it was pretty bad. I put her back into the cage hoping she might pull through, but a few days later i found she had dropped her tail finally and was gone.
I cried alot. Its my first pet that has ever died on me.
Ive been wanting to put a lock on that cage for a while now, and i hate that this is the motivation for me to really do it
