I lost me beloved feline friend of 19 years this morning. Cleo will always be remembered. 
A Parting Prayer
Dear Lord, please open your gates
and call St. Francis
to come escort this beloved companion
across the Rainbow Bridge.
Assign her to a place of honor,
for she has been a faithful servant
and has always done her best to please me.
Bless the hands that send her to you,
for they are doing so in love and compassion,
freeing her from pain and suffering.
Grant me the strength not to dwell on my loss.
Help me remember the details of her life
with the love she has shown me.
And grant me the courage to honor her
by sharing those memories with others.
Let her remember me as well
and let her know that I will always love her.
And when it's my time to pass over into your paradise,
please allow her to accompany those
who will bring me home.

Thanks, I was 5 years old when she was born. I've had her for as long as I can remember. At least she is not in pain anymore.

Sorry to hear about that. I know what your going through I just lost my Snake Hazel and my cat. in under a month. my cat was also 19 years old. It's hard to deal with. and I hope you the best.

Yesterday I thought of you,

oh kimmie- i am sooo sorry. i feel your pain.. *hugs* i wish there was somthing i could do.. i dont mean to sound horrible or anything, but- they say time heals your pain, and after our big loss a year ago (you should know what i mean) i still cry about..i guess they mean big time.. *sigh*
