yeah that doesn't look good at all. I have never ran into a snake that looked like that. maybe dehydration.
I would say it is more than a shedding problem. Im sure one of the more experienced members will have more info.
If all else fails, just get it to a reptile vet.

I agree with diablo, it looks very dehydrated and hungry. make sure your water dish is big enough for him to fit into. Your humidity seems a little low aswell, try misting the tank down a couple times a day that should fix that a bit.
Check for mites too, they can suck the life outta your snake.

Just to defend Dani a bit. She posted some other pics and all ready received some advice. The snake is looking MUCH better all ready. Good to see a lot of moisture in there too. As for that humidity gauge, I don't trust those ones too much anyway. I had one just like it that never read higher than 50% no matter what I did. So I got a digital one and what do ya know my humidity was at 80%. I know Dani has been doing a lot to rehydrate her boa, and I believe it was yesterday that she took two pinkies. So she is looking better! This isn't meant to get at Diablo or Foman, advice is always great, just wanted to defend Dani a bit since she has done a LOT just since yesterday to make sure her boa is on the road to recovery

Well, everyone has already voiced their concerns about the snake's health. For the sake of being redundant, I won't rehash everyone's opinions here. Besides, SoPure says she has taken steps to improve husbandry. My only problem with this thread is that there's no giant python anywhere in it. I'm moving this over to the Boa forum.
