Feeding day *PICS*
I fed Kobe yesterday and snapped a few more pics with my phone, hence the somewhat low quality. Here they are....

I haven't had an accurate measurement in over a year. I'd say he's around 3 feet thought. After he has a few days to digest I'll have to get a more accurate figure for ya. I've been wanting to know myself, just haven't gotten around to it. He's about as big around as a typical broom handle, maybe a little bigger.

Only reason I ask is, My new critter has a feeding day come up and she is 3ft and I have no clue what to get, Med Rat, Large Rat.. I supposed I will just have to dig though the bags of frozen rodents (oh the fun) and find one that looks right.

Thanks guys.
Toker as for your snake, if its about 3 feet as i think mine is, I feed mine what the store calls "small rats" but they are pretty big for small rats. A medium rat by normal terms would probably be fine. Just go by the girth rule as many on here say. Feed him something the size of the fattest part on his/her body.
I'll have to get Kobe out for some normal pics one of these days, I want to do it outside though and its been WAY too cold for that.

In most petstores...I fail to notice anything but price difference in small and medium rats. They always look the same size to me. Then again sometimes I would ask for large and get what I would consider small. It's best to look at them and pick a rat that is the right size and forget trying to find a word to describe exactly what you are talking about to petstore personel. Rodentpro is a little better with consistancy.
