The Newest Addition to the Collection...

A Motley Boa! We are VERY happy and fortunate to be able to add this beautiful male Motley Boa to our collection! He came in last night and just shed for us this morning so I had to snap some photos of him! This little guy was produced by Jon Roylance. I also took some new pictures of my Jungle Boa as well as a photo of the Jungle with the Motley.

Celia, your collection never ceases to amaze me! I wish I had half the beautiful boas that you have!

These two males will hopefully be my star breeders for next season...I'm keeping my fingers crossed! The Jungle just gets prettier and prettier with each shed. The contrast between his sides and his dorsal continues to increase as he grows.

I can't wait to watch the Motley change as he grows. I really hope we'll all be able to see what a Super Motley looks like this season!

Shadrach - I'm not sure if you are asking about the price of the Motley or the Jungle? Male Motley Boas are $8,000, females at around $6,000. Male Jungle Boas are anywhere between $3,000 and $5,000+ depending on what they look like. I'm not quite sure what the current market price is on female Jungle Boas...

That Motley Boa is got a incredible pattern. Expensive but well worth it, I'll say. Good luck with the breeding those kids.

Thanks for the compliments guys...one of my favorite things about my boas are how the pattern extends into their eyes...I think that is just so cool!
