Denver Zoo pics *dial up warning*
I visited the Denver Zoo the other day, mainly to visit the Tropical Discovery house, where the reptiles are kept. Took pictures of the other animals along the way.
Cape Buffalo
African Wild Dogs
at the duck pond...Any bird people know what these are? Snow geese?
What about these? Wood ducks?
baby giraffe
Big Mama keeping an eye on me
LOL...this horny peacock was trying to impress the girl and shoo people away...she didn't seem the slightest bit interested...LOL...poor guy
The 50 degree weather didn't seem to bother this guy, I wonder why....
Bensnacks and Wrasse...this guy look familiar to you?
"Oh, woe is me!"
Oh no, look what they've done to Mr. Ed!

On to the Tropical Discovery house...
a huge Boelen's python in blue...
Some of these hots on display were seized from that guy here in CO who was caught keeping numerous hots without a license sometime last year...The article was posted around here somewhere...
Canebrake rattler...
a beautiful EDB...
this one was labeled as a McGregor's Viper...Never heard of them before...
Crocodile Monitor...
meet Kate's cousin's friend's sister's former roommate...
one of the zoo's three Komodos...
Esmerelda, izzat you?
I was in a rush to grab the last few pics before they closed up the Tropical house. Somehow I overlooked the big green annie enclosure. There's also a pretty sweet batcave in there as well. Check the link out for pics of the rest of the animals.

Hi Bry,
The McGregor’s pitviper is only found on a single small island in the Batan’s rainforests
off the northern cost of the Philippines. Thanks for posting your pictures I enjoyed looking at them.
Take care,
Tom
