All of the pics were taken at the National Zoo in Washington DC.

I sure do wish I had a zoom lens for that... they digital zoom function made for some fuzzy out of focus pics.....

What kind of shrimp is that? Looks like a Mantis shrimp from the back, but the eyes are way to small from this angle to be a Mantis shrimp

The shrimp is a Malaysian Prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii)
