Finally some justice...
Santa brought me a Nikon Coolpix 3100...
And at last I can do my critters some justice... expect to be bombarded in the days to come!

One question though... what's the best way to maintain the clarity as best as possible but still size it down? This pic is really great in is original state but it didn't translate very well... looks too pixilated; there has to be a better way...*shrugs* oh and I use photosuite to edit my pics....

The Nikon Coolpix is an awesome camera.... our only complaint is the slow image recording under low light conditions.
The close ups (macro) functions are incredible!
To get a better small image size you could try what Boaman said or try a different program for image resizing. Typically the pixelation occurs when you enlarge an image not reduce it.
We are looking at the digital rebel, just waiting for the right deal to come along.

nice..we got a fujifilm pinepix digi a210 3.2 megs. makes vidoes and everything..its an awesome camera
good luck with figuring yours out, i am still trying to figure out how to work it
