We had a good time despite the heat and crowds. The Raleigh, NC Reptile and Exotic Show was a pretty good time. We even had a decent RTB turnout... Herp_Chick, Ed_r, my sister, me, JonnyB, and HolliGirl all made it there. It was held in the Dorton Arena in Raleigh WITH NO, thats right NO, air conditioning, and most of the show floor was shoulder to shoulder with people. There were the typical burms, retics, and bp's going for a dime a dozen, but if you looked around there were a few decent deals to be had! I found a few too many for my own good [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] but I will show those in a different post.

Nice shots. Yes there WE'RE deals there, you really had to scrounge around to find them though. I myself was really disappointed with the show in general. Normally at the shows I see 70-80% of the vendors with good quality animals. Here it seemed it was 70-80% of the vendors had malnourished, and improper set ups to keep their animals in, and in some cases just pure nastiness. I went on a litle witch hunt of the offenders on Sunday, I'll show them in another post.

All in All I had fun Was great meeting everyone. Now you guys gotta come up to Tinley Park in October. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]

Hey, I didn't even remember you taking those pics of Bubba...............lol. I was so excited to meet all you guys. I am glad everyone is happy to have found what they were looking for.
