While standing in near chest deep water trying to get some turtle shots, this Red-bellied Water Snake (Nerodia erythrogaster erythrogaster) showed up.
I find most red-bellied water snakes fairly shy, but this one seemed rather curious.
The last shot before it slipped under the duck weed.
