Re: My best friend

Beautiful yorkie, he does look very well cared for, their hair tangles so quickly it seems but he's gorgeous. I too have a "snake food" sized dog, and get tired of the jokes, but I get so much out of my little dog that I don't need a big one. (but of course we have a big one too lol)

Re: My best friend

Cooper is adorable! I love those dogs; with their intelligence they are such a blast to train. He looks like he is in great shape, too. Most of the Yorkies I see in my area are way overweight; it is very nice to see a healthy, obviously very well cared for one.

As a lover and owner of furry animals I can sympathize about the whole ‘snake food’ joke thing. I understand that they are trying to be funny but to me, it seems very immature and I would hate to think about what kind of light it would cast on snake keepers if a non-reptile person were to read that comment.

Thanks for sharing your pictures, and good luck with the little guy!

And I know how you feel about the "Snake food" thing. It bugs me mostly when those comments are made about my cats. Bleh.
.
Coop and the other Yorkies have "big dog syndrome". Love to bark at people, dogs, whatever from inside the house. But are sofites when you get around them. The species are big in spirit.

I agree! All 3 of them are very intelligent. In fact, Coop had 7 tricks nailed down when was just 3 months old. I lost count on what all he can do now. The others are more motivated when they see and hear the word treat.
.
Thanks again all.
