In no particular order (because I'm tired and lazy)... NARBC pics! To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. Most of the big names just weren't there and those that were didn't have much. It seemed like a very colubrid-heavy show, which is fine but half of the non-colubrids were well out of my price range. And was it just me or did it seem like every other booth was information only? And I was surprised to see empty booths too. Of course none of that stopped me from picking up a few beauties (pictures to follow once they've settled a bit). I was most impressed by VPI's blood pythons and the motley boas. They're absolutely killer! And way too pricey lol.

Rachel, those pictures do them NO justice. They were perfect. They were actually at the booth my buddy was sharing. I picked something pretty nice from him last week. I wanted to make sure I got dibs!

That motley sunglow was unreal! I agree on the coubrid and ball heaviness. Some of the vendors were talking about the reptile legislation like it had already happened or something. Saying they were going to start buying carpets,balls and colubrids to breed just in case. That's depressing.

oh yea. VPI's bloods are killer!! that magpie. omg!!! I do agree that it was a coloubrid heavy show. still some nice animals though. just means I won't be coming home with a ton LOL I know a lot of the vendors there from previous shows so a lot of my time was spent chatting LOL. I don't even think I got to see everything yesterday o.o that's why we are going again lol.

Wow that's LAME. I was really upset that Kara Glasglow wasn't there with her bloods. I've had my heart set on a Sumatran short tail since last year.

From those it really did seem like a slightly unvaried show. Gorgeous kids, all though.

I never see the Hypo Brazilian Rainbows around, just 20 people insisting theirs is a HET.

Those B&W Abby Kings and Mexican Blacks are adorable. I wonder if any of them are less angry than mine?

Call me a colubrid dork, but the mere presence of the Philodryas Mattogrossensis (Matto Grosso Racer) would have been worth the price of admission alone.

Those were at the same table where Britton got his carpets. They were quite stunning to see in person.

They were really quite cute. The boyfriend and I went back to look at them after we'd made our rounds and they were all gone!

It was pretty cool. The bamboo racers got me a bit excited too. I love colubrids, don't get me wrong. I think for me I had my heart set on a few specific snakes and there wasn't a single one of them there. I'm sure I hyped myself into a bit of disappointment.

WOW that was a LOT of morphs!

Some nice looking snakes, but I just can't see paying $10grand for a Ball Python no matter how unusual or beautiful it was.
The Blood X Ball crosses are wild looking, and sort of pretty. Of the morphs, I prefer the pied, but again I'm not paying that much for a "pet" snake. If I were a breeder, sure. :P
I liked the Corn snake they had out on the display, that was a brilliant color, and the Caimens and torts are always precious

Although I'm not huge on colubrids, and I hope there's some snakes that fall a little more into my price range. Heh.
