Laveau, fresh shed
I'm gunna put some pictures of Laveau up in just a minute. She just had a really nice shed last night. And since I've never been able to measure her, I usually go by the length of her shed. She the results are in and drumroll please! 43 inches!!!!! She's getting so huge... 7 months old and 43" long... she's gunna be a monster when she's an adult.
But I'm still waiting for her rat to thaw, and I'll take some more pics, and a video, in just a few minutes.

Re: Laveau, fresh shed
Measuring sheds is inaccurate (as I came to find out long ago). The skin is stretched, you see. Using a tape measure or piece of string, allowing the snake to slither along a wall. These are all ways to get a somewhat accurate measurement.
My Sasori had a 6.5' long shed, I nearly fainted (he's only 5.3-5.4).

Re: Laveau, fresh shed
yea, the shed is quite a bit longer then the snake, lol... if you can get her to stretch out on a wall that works pretty well

Re: Laveau, fresh shed
Yeah I knew it's somewhat inaccurate. I just refuse to put her on the floor because of the dogs... I may try it upstairs, lol dogs haven't been there. But I've got to get new batteries for my camera, then the pics will be up.
