This is Megan's sister, Amanda feeding a young Piebald white tail deer at the Yellow River Game Ranch. This little deer was quite clingy and followed us around for quite awhile.
The bucks are all busy growing new antlers. They look pretty cool in velvet eh? All the deer in this park are quite affectionate and enjoy being scratched, pet and of course....fed!

Cool! The only other one I have ever seen was a rather large adult Buck that always hung out in this cow pasture along side a big fat brahma bull. They appeared to be buds. It's pretty rare for a piebald deer to live very long in the wild. This particular buck was lucky in that he was in an area where noone hunts.

Nice pics Brett. A dear and a deer. You know youre gonna have to take me down there sometime when I come down. I always enjoy seeing wildlife upclose like that.
John, That deer kinda reminds me of a sick Brittany Spaniel lol. THat is some wicked coloration on that deer.
