This nile has to know everything that goes on outside the cage. He also found the one weakspot where the heat panel cord goes out the back and escaped 5 minutes after going into his new home. Had to seal that hole. The decor is still a work in progress but so far the monitor like it.
The cage is the 4'x'2x'2 I won from Jungle Habitats.

That's adorable! Cage decor... some slabs of flat rock to build 'steps' to get closer to the basking lamp? Dirt deep enough for him to burrow, maybe with a hollow log he can use as a hide? Wood to climb? See what he does with a mirror. Kate loves to be next to the 'other monitor' in her enclosure, LMAO

The substrate is almost 4 inches thick and he has a "burrow" he made that goes under the piece of driftwood. I just need to come up with some cash to buy the "decor". The radient heat panel and thermostat set me back a bit. Plus I picked up a few more snakes over the weekend. Wife cut me off as far as purchases go. Now, I just need to find a job so I can have some "play" money again. This economy bites. Been out of work since Nov after 14 years with the same company.
