to me they look like boa constrictor imperator, colombia.
these guys do not resemble guyanas at all!
sorry, not here to start trouble n stuff, but thats what i think. i have seen plenty of guyanas and now own and they dont look like that.
from what i can see, too many saddles, irregular saddle markings.
not saying anything because of the widows peaks or lack there of because i have a wc aduklt male with mostly clear circle back. they usually come with widows, but not always.
if you paid more than $150 shipped, you have paid to much. apologies, but my opinion.
bci, colombia- not bcc guyana

I was just thrown off by the "widows peaks" they aloso have vey high pink bodies and extremely white and orange red tails. $150 for each? I picked them up and will be selling at least 2 of them.

Nope, Talon, they don't resemble any bcc I've ever seen. There are a LOT of these babies popping up lately.....and they are bci.

The tails wouldn't be orange, they would be more of a solid marroon. The outline would be more of a cream color also. They look like normal bci to me. Widow's peaks really aren't a tell-tale sign of being bcc. Good lookin snakies though.

Nice snakes ya got there! I'm really not an expert in the locality of boas, just wanted to say is if the place you got them is reputable, you don't have to worry about where they came from. Thing is, if you try to sell them, there will be a lot of red light flashing in the buyer's head. Just my $0.02

you paid $150 each???
i keep fogetting that prices are different in different places.
i get boas like that here for $50-$60 bux.
find out what sexes they are, find some nice good lookin' mates, and have a family later on when they are adults!
why sell a purdy boa- keep it

no, I didn't pay 150 each but i paid a little more then i usually would because they are so gorgeous! high pink, widows peaks, high contrast, connected saddles on tails. all that good stuff I couldn't resisit but I only got room in my wallet and collection to keep one so i have to sell the other 2. I will be posting better pictures later today.

hey, dont worry- i know what its like to buy on impulse!! i do it all the time.
breeders love it when they see me coming.
you may or may not get the same price when and if you sell them. tis the season of parturation!! all the boas in the farms are starting to give birth and the ones here- are starting to give birth too. the market will be full of boas soon- driving the price down.
i say keep them. where there is a snake, there is a way.
good luck
will

oh, I had the money and space for all of them but i don't want three snakes from the same bloodline in my breeding projects. I bought three because the price was right and I new I could sell them. I have a store owner i'm freinds with that i can sell the other 2 at. I just wanted to see what kind of response i would get.

ohhhh....i see what you mean.
but i say keep them anyways! i have up to 5 members from any bloodline i fall in love with! i dont have so many to breed together, i have alot so i can buy other mates from an awesome line too and will always have babies available with out having to breed any one of my gals to death!
from each line i have 2.5 animals.

the mighty dennis sargent is there, jaimie quick is there: www.quick-pets.com, matt hunter is there: www.trueredtails.com, as well as a bunch of others...... florida is a good place to be right about now!
