I took these pics yesterday, these two are are both cb99 and are looking good! The female in the first pic is a het albino, female in the second pic is an anerythristic 66% het albino. Telefrag, you remember these as babies don't you?





Anyway, we haveyet to reproduce Boa constrictor so we really have no idea what we are doing! I am feeling pretty positive about these two though and I am hoping to walk into the snakeroom one morning in a few months and find baby boas. Very exciting stuff!

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

	Boa Constrictor Imperator Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor imperator). Most common is the Colombian Boa.

It looks like the snake in that second pic is gearing up for the famous "Post Ovulation Shed". Once she sheds, you can count down 105 days (+/- 5-10 days) untill Baby Day.

Yep, both these ladies were bred to our albino male named Vincent. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
