Anyone familiar with The Wheel of Time stories by Robert Jordan will recognise the name Shaidar Haran. In the Old Tongue, it translates to "Hand of the Dark" or "Hand of the Shadow".
I had mentioned to BWSmith last Thursday that I had a dream that one of his snakies bit me and he informed me that Herpers are a superstitious lot and he never handles his snakes the day after "Bite Dreams". I should have listened to him I reckon. The following occured the day after my "Bite Dream"...
Shaidar loves to climb up the posts on the bed, as seen below.
She could just sit up there for hours if I let her.....
But I don't....so when it came time to get her untied from the poles and take her back to her room, she voiced her displeasure
Well, once she let me know how she felt about taking her fun away, she was back to her old, sweet self. I know snakes are just cold-blooded reptiles, but it is so easy to relate her actions to those of a child having a tantrum after having their favorite toy taken away.
