I just rescued a few months ago this leopard gecko named chico. When I picked her up she the previous owner told me he recently found her in a closet and been living there for 4 months without food or water!!! Chico was skinny as a rail to begin with and starting to develop MBD. So I said I would nurse her back to health and I did just that. I feed her crickets at first and she ate like a pig and it look like she never left drinking from her water bowl. She was wild and she bit me everytime I tried to handle her. She was severly dehydrated, but after a few days she started to turn around. After about a week her tail started to fatten up with continous feedings. It took me about two months before she settled down and stopped biting me. Now her she is cuter than all my other geckos.
