Carpet pics

Well so as not to leave the other half of my collection out here are most of my carpets.

First up is Annun a West Papuan carpet (Irian Jaya).


Next is Elrohir a Diamond carpet cross (probably with a jungle...). He, along with his brother, were my first carpets.


Then we have Glorfindel and Glorhiril my stunning pair of jungles. The first two are Glorfindel the male and the last is Glorhiril the female. I hand picked these two from a friend's clutches of jungles back in '05.





And lastly my pair of Bredl's carpets.

Thanks guys, I can't wait to breed my jungles together and see if the striping is genetic. I'm fairly confident it is to some degree. Their parents will throw striped jungles every so often, but those two are the top of the heap. I think the female may be ready this year, but she's kinda young. I got her in '05 and have been pushing her pretty heavy, so I've decided to fast her over the winter and then maintenance feed her until next winter.

I need to get some pics of my new IJ male. He looks completely different from my female, really pale and lots of blushing.
