New used cages :)

Last week I drove out to Rhode Island and picked up a pair of used Vision cages.

Both are 6ft long. The one on top isn't as wide though. I think they are the 632 and the 622.
The Retics came along in the deal. All in all I paid $350 for everything. I've grown pretty attached to these behemoths. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] Guy I got them from hooked me up big time! Just fed them both yesterday. They both feed on f/t rabbits. Both seem very tame. Great deal!!! Hey....can I make a suggestion though? Go to walmart...go to the automotive section....look for the black pans ya use to drain oil into when doing an oil change...they only cost about 2-3 bucks each. Perfect waterbowls for large snakes. Those snakes are way too big to soak in those bowls.

Oh, and just because I picked up on it now, is that a board running the length of the cage in between the two of them? Does that take care of the slight sagging you get with the larger vision cages when they are stacked? If that's what they are for and that works.... good idea!

Thanks for the tip there Jules. Gonna go to Wal mart right away! Yeah NYC, the bottom cage does seem to sag, it's the older model without the reinforced beam. The wood does help it and the heat tape under as well. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]
