NEW PICTURES!! I've posted these on K*ng*nake.com already so this might be a repeat for some of you but I wanted to share with all my Redtailboa.net friends too!
Well it's finally here...my new camera! I've been waiting a whole week for my Nikon Coolpix 5700. It was supposed to be shipped next day air but they messed up and shipped it ground...ugh, SO slow! Anyways, it's here and I love it. I took a bunch of pictures with it today so I figured I would share them with everyone.
Let me know what you think of the pictures and of the camera!!
Thanks and Enjoy!
Celia
Some new pictures of one of my Hypo Boas...she's gotten a lot more pink since the last pictures I took of her!
This is a hypo boa that was produced from a hypo male bred to one of our nicest Red Group females. This guy is a hold back that is not for sale but I wanted to share pictures of him because he sure is pretty...
Some close-ups...these were taken in the sun with no flash...
AND finally, some new pictures of one of the juvenile Hypo Brazilian Rainbow Boas...
Some head close-ups...beautiful irridescence

Nice zoom. I wish the camera I get to use was that nice. If it was, I could get a nice face-shot of my new BP with the light eyes.
How much does a camera like that run someone?
And that second boa is REALLY nice. I actually like the color, and there are few adult RTBs I like the color of. *ducks allt he RTB lovers*

Hey Everyone!
Glad to see that people like the pictures the camera takes as well as the animals themselves! I think I really like this camera...I'm just not too used to it yet. That's what years of using the 950 and the 995 will do to you LOL! Anyways...I'll have to post more pictures as they come...I want to take some more of those Red Group x Hypos and some more of my other Hypo. All in good time!
Oh and BTW...
Voodoo...I looked all over the internet to try and find the best deal on the Nikon Coolpix 5700 and I think the very cheapest was something like $770 but all the places that had the camera between that and $900 were pretty much sold out. PLUS a lot of the stores have really BAD ratings from past customers...like people complaining about being ripped off, etc. Anyways, I ended up buying from a place that had it for $944. Still a great deal because it retails in stores for $1200 plus you have to pay tax, an extra $100.
Boaguy12...the really clean hypo was produced by Rick Staub. She is absolutely getting just prettier and prettier as she grows and with each shed. She will be an real SCREAMER adult. The other hypo, the Red Group x Hypo one, was produced by us (EBV) at the store. There's another animal that's just as nice as that one that I'll take some pics of later.
JuliusSqueezer...LOL! Yeah, now that I think about it, those rocks do kind of look like eggs! But I like them and use them for a lot of my photographs because I think they look nice and offer good contrast to the animal.
Thanks,
Celia
