Here are a couple of pics of the Amazon Basin ETB we were lucky enough to get from CraigC. She's well into her color change and just shed this morning, so we figured we'd share some pics.
Enjoy,
Will & Heather

She was born 3/19/2002, so that makes her ~6.5 months now. She's just gotten into the swing of the color change in the last couple of weeks.
Her eyes are a grey/green, though the pic does make them look blue-ish.
She's been a real pleasure so far, docile whenever we've handled her and a little piggy when it comes to eating. She only turned down 1 meal and that was when she was in blue over the weekend. Once she shed Sunday morning, she ate happily that evening.
Thanks,
Will & Heather

I was just looking though your other photos.... that climbing rack idea was awesome.
Did you just burn/heat the PVC to get that brown twisted look?
It looked great after the greenery was added!

The PVC thing is very easy to do. All you need is a propane torch and some channel lock pliers. Just heat the PVC up really well till it gets very pliable. After that twist it however you want and dip it in some cool water while it is twisted and it will hold the shape. After it's twisted I just go over it again holding the torch and letting it burn the PVC to get that look. We got the idea of this from CraigC on here whom we also got the basin from as well.

I can help ya out on that one Stormy.
You can do PVC like that on your stove, but it puts out a lot of fumes.
Another way is on a BBQ, rolling it a little at the time to let it heat evenly and scorch.
One way we used to do in a pinch was to take the PVC glue and pour some on the pipe, light it and let it cook for a few then throw sand on it to put out the flames. You can cool it with a hose so that it stays in the shape you want.
Or if you know any electricians you may be able to borrow a PVC bender (like a stove element in a metal box ) or a heat gun and get the same effects.
Looks like it's schedule 20 waterline which is some thin stuff but still strong.
