Well, I may's well post some pics, considering I love my little darlings. Though my photography skills are half rate, and I really wouldn't mind having some professional photos taken of Houdini.
I figure I'll post the pictures in the order I got the snakes, just for kicks. I apologise again..XD none of these pictures are particularely striking in any manner, it'd be so much better if I had a lightbox.
First up: Translucent Rainbow Butterfly -- 'Lucent' for short. Mexican black king that I bought in Calgary, Alberta in 2000 fresh from the breeder at about two days old. Man was he ever tiny when I first got him! *Kept some of his first sheds, lol*

..I think it's time for another little photo-taking session. Heh heh.
Second up is Houdini, as I said he was a rescue, and I'm real glad I got him away from the guy. Considering he'd already lost his two ten foot red-tailed boas by neglecting them and...decided to get Houdini to replace the loss? Turns out his girlfriend didn't like snakes, and banned it from the house, meaning he was shoved into a shed outside with a very poor heat-source, no light.. no water when I found him and when I asked when the last time he'd been fed was, I earned a shrug.

This was last year as well, I had him in a 33
gal and FINALLY got a nice, big, spacious new tank for him so he can stretch out, has a much bigger water-dish now so he can soak and curl up comfortably instead of having his silly mommy take him out for soaks in the bathtub all the time.
My little ghost-corn, Cameo was the third I brought in. Just last year~. Mostly due to being interested in corns, and was going to get one as my first snake, but I fell in love with Lucent when I seen him. I got him from the local 'pet store'. This 'pet store' shouldn't even be carrying animals, considering the people who work there know jack sh*t about what they're doing and I've told them this several times.

Heh, the brat. That would've been a good picture of him had he not moved in toward the camera just as I clicked it.
Soubi was previously owned by a guy in town who was moving, and unfortunately couldn't bring the snake with him. He put flyers up around town, advertising that he was selling the snake/tank combo for $100. Not worried about the price, I was a little more concerned about the snake getting a good home. I called him the next morning, went down and checked the little darling out and brought him home the same day. Even brought the guy down to show him my own snakes' setup so he could feel confident Soubi was going to be taken care of.

Best picture I have of him(her? haven't sexed him yet.) and it's not too complimenting..
My recent addition! A growing interest in ball pythons had me purchase this little sweetie from Nathan Myhill, owner of NGM exotics in Edmonton. Needless to say I'm pleased with her, she's a great feeder, her first shed so far in my care's been excellent and as you can see she's quite the looker.

100%
het for albino, hatched on Sept. 16th and I've had her for just under a month now~ Got a few great shots of her after her first shed.
Here's my little Legolian!

and again, because I love this picture:
