Today I had the pleasure of talking with Mike Hansen and he told me of some Suri babies someone has for sale for $50.00 buck's but said he wasn't sure they were Suri's?? Anyway he emailed me the pic's and I told him I would post them on here for him these are the parent's susposedly they are so dark because of the cooling down period?? And then the babies. Just thought I'd see if we could get everyone's opinion's on them, Suri's or regular ol' BCI's??? Anyway Mike will probably be along to enlighten us on the detail's!!!
The parent's
OK for some reason the babies won't come across if anyone want's to view them they are in my album page 4

they look like plain old columbians to me. I don't see anythning that shows a hint of suri in them. I can't see the babie's pics though they are just red x's. I think that addresses on the babies are wrong. So I went to your photo album and checked them out. They almost look like C. A. babies? defenitly not suri

The saddle count is a bit low, but they otherwise look like typical Columbian BCI to me.

Thanks everyone,and shad!!!
I thought they were a little too dark for suris!!
At any rate,i don't think $50 is too bad. Just the misrepresentation that gets me a little worked up.
I believe that i will let him know about that!!
Thanks again,
Mike Hansen

Mike.. That is NOT a bad pricing for basic BCI at all ! If you are NOT endeared to wanting a suri and are looking for a BOA , then go for it, BUT be VERY careful with your dealings with the seller as it seems they have already misrepresented what it is they are selling already.

Hi just to let you all know,i am retracting my bid on these animals. I don't want to worry about the credibility of this guy.
I have found some real nice colombian redtails closer to home. I called the guy and talked to him about a half an hour,he was a really nice and helpful guy. He has 23 babies and 8 are eating so far. The best part of the deal is he only wants $45 for these babies. So i believe this is the way I will go.
SHAD... I don't know how far you are from Chapel Hill, but if you want another BCI i will give you his number.
Anyway, I thank all of you for your opinions, and can't wait to get my new(and first) BCI. I will get it on Oct 6th. Only because he is going out of town for a week.
Thanks again,
Mike
