Both heads seem to be. Oddly enough, it is right head dominant which is unusual for two headed animals. It is still running off yolk so we don't know if it will eat yet. X Rays next week will tell us if its internal organs are developed enough to survive. There does seem to be some communication problems with the back legs since they kick at the same time like a dog paddle. It has to be kept in very shallow water because, not surprising, it has a problem with buoyancy and can't really swim. But both heads are alert and all 4 legs seems to have good strength. |
